Tasty Tuesday: Kaytucky Chicken

Seriously, this is a fantastic recipe.  I found it perusing Pinterest one day looking for something good for dinner (and reading inspirational quotes and planning the next holiday craft and finding 101 things to do with a used wooden pallet . . . you know, normal Pinterest stuff).  It has become one that has stayed in 'the rotation', so I hope you try it and enjoy!

The full recipe with step by step photos can be found here.

You'll Need:
4 chicken fillets
4 frozen puff pastry sheets
4 oz cream cheese (the firm kind)
few rashes of bacon
flat-leaf parsley
1 spring onion
1 large egg, beaten
pepper
salt

Directions:
Cook Bacon, and crumble.
Chop Onion and Parsley.
Mix all three with cream cheese.
Make a cut in the middle of the chicken breast and fill with Cream Cheese Mixture.
Fold Puff Pastry around individual chicken breasts
Brush edges with egg
Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
